Frame materials used are the carbon fiber, the aluminum alloy, and the chrome-moly and hi-tensile steel. Force Optimized Construction technology is done when carbon fiber material is used in the construction of bike frames. 4 factors are present, namely the One Piece or Monocoque Frame Construction which effectively rids the bike frame of lugs and joints, the Optimized Tube Construction which uses Finite element Analysis (FEA) methods to counteract common stresses encountered by a mountain bike frame, and the Kiting and Sequence Process which concentrates fiber direction of the carbon material during the manufacturing process. GTw concentrates the formidable engineering skills of the GT team to craft a bicycle for the serious female cyclist. 4 main changes were made to fit women’s geometry. These are a head tube that is taller, a seat tube angle that is steeper, a top tube length that is shorter, and a stand over that is lower. Independent Drivetrain or ID is one of the many patented designs of GT. It is the technology used in GT’s full-suspension bikes. A longer, harder ride is the happy result of this design technology aimed at increasing pedal efficiency.
